Introducing HUMA — Conscious Human Evolution

For nearly two decades, the Human Unity Gateway Foundation has helped young people discover their potential, strengthen their sense of self, and develop the skills to create positive change in their lives and communities. HUMA is the next evolution of that work.

HUMA — Conscious Human Evolution is a new model of education designed to teach young people the essential human skills that traditional education often leaves behind. Emotional mastery. Communication. Self-awareness and self-reliance. Resilience. Relationships. Purpose. Leadership. Conscious decision-making. Service and contribution. These are the skills that profoundly influence how successfully a young person navigates school, work, relationships, leadership—and life itself.

Rather than creating new institutions, HUMA is designed to work within the educational infrastructure that already exists—schools, colleges, after-school programs and youth organizations. Through approximately 15 hours of experiential learning, young people can work toward a HUMA Conscious Human Evolution Certificate, with the long-term vision of creating a globally recognized credential demonstrating meaningful training in the human competencies required for life readiness.

Through the H.U.G. Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that access to this education is not determined by a family's ability to pay. Our vision is for sponsored and paying youth to learn side by side—creating environments that reflect the human unity at the heart of both HUG and HUMA.

We are now seeking pioneering schools, youth organizations, educators, funders and strategic partners to help us pilot, evaluate and shape this model. Together, we have an opportunity to expand the definition of education itself—preparing young people not only for academic and professional success, but for the much bigger challenge of becoming conscious, capable and contributing human beings.
